COGNO ASM Session 3 - Skull Base Tumours

Dear COGNO members Session 3 will focus on skull base tumours including pituitary tumours and meningiomas- with updates on surgical technique, pathology, radiation and medical management. One of our international guests, Dr Helen Shih, from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston will speak on radiation therapy for skull base tumours. Dr Shih directs the proton therapy program at Mass General and we look forward to learning from her experience. We will also in this session hear from local speakers Dr Richard Harvey regarding endoscopic skull base surgery, Dr Ann McCormack regarding her experience with temozolomide for refractory pituitary tumours and Dr Joanne Sy who will discuss use of methylation studies to further categorise meningiomas.
