COGNO committees include the following:
The Management Committee facilitates the smooth running of the group.
Elected office bearers include;
- Chair
- Deputy Chair
- Secretary*
- Treasurer*
* These positions maybe one or two office holders
Other members may be co-opted to the committee as required.
The Scientific Advisory Committees role is to make recommendations to the COGNO on which protocols have scientific merit and clinical relevance.
The SAC consists of range of experts including a consumer representative, comprising;
- Chair of Scientific Advisory Committee
- Chair of the Management Committee
- Statistician
- Program Manager representing the Trial Coordinating Centre
- Consumer Representative
Other members may be co-opted to the committee as required.
Operations Executive Committee (OEC)
The Operations Executive Committee (OEC) is responsible for the day to day operational tasks for COGNO including; regular review and discussion of current and proposed trials.
As a minimum the OEC comprises of:
- Chair of Scientific Advisory Committee
- Chair of the Management Committee
- Program Manager representing the Trial Coordinating Centre
- Coordinating Centre clinical lead
Other members may be co-opted to the committee as required.
