COGNO ASM - Abstracts and Early Bird Reminder - Deadline Friday 6 July

There are 101 days until this year’s ASM!

Call for Abstracts - Submissions will be closing next Friday 6 July 2018
Members of the neuro-oncology community and related professions are invited to submit abstracts for presentation as part of the COGNO Annual Scientific Meeting. Abstracts of original work for both poster and oral presentations will be considered. Themes for this year’s abstract submissions include:
  • Glioma
  • Brain metastasis
  • Adolescent and young adult, paediatric and rare CNS tumours
  • Translational Science
  • Survivorship, psychology and supportive care
  • Other

Abstract Awards
COGNO is again offering awards for the best abstracts. This year we are pleased to announce an additional prize recognising research excellence in any discipline related to supportive care for people with brain tumour: the BTAA Lynette Williams Award. There will be a total of four awards available for accepted oral and poster abstracts:
  • BTAA Lynette Williams Award - There will be a prize of $600 for the first prize, and $400 for the second prize, for posters from any discipline in research related to supportive care for people with brain tumours.
  • Most Outstanding Oral Presentation - There will be a prize of $500 for the Most Outstanding Oral Presentation.
  • Most Outstanding Poster Presentation - There will be a prize of $500 for the Most Outstanding Poster Presentation.
  • Young Investigator Award - The Young Investigator Award is to encourage clinicians and researchers early in their career to submit an abstract.  A prize of $500 will be awarded to the best poster or oral presentation meeting the eligibility criteria.
